Vegas-area Groundwater Listed for $25,500 per acre-foot
Texas Water Lawyer & Water Rights Attorney Trey Wilson wrote:
Think water rights are expensive in Texas? In the Las Vegas Valley, one large scale rights holder is marketing 150 acre feet of groundwater at $25,500.00 per acre foot, and he expects to fetch that price. The fully-transferrable rights are being offered in lump sum or in smaller increments by The Walters Group, owned by entrepreneur, and gambler-extraordinaire, Billy T. Walters.
